We are thrilled to announce our latest NHS partnership at Leva Clinic are now working with Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital & South East London to support patients in South London living with chronic pain.
From this month, NHS patients in South London may be referred by their clinicians to our Pain Management Programme. This builds on our research partnerships with Imperial College London, and our Boots partnership launched earlier this year.
This NHS partnership will enable better access for patients, reduce waiting times and give patients direct access to our 12 module pain management programme, supported by our health coach team.
We are particularly excited by this partnership as we are working with both primary and secondary care services to deliver best-practice patient care.
It is estimated that 28 million adults in the UK currently live with persistent pain, with back pain being the single largest cause of disability in the UK. The British Pain Society estimates that chronic pain is more costly to society than cancer and heart disease combined.
