How we helped Lisa.

Lisa met with a consultant doctor and underwent a full medication review and to talk about her current treatment plan and to prescribe pain killers that she thinks will benefit Lisa more than the ones she was currently taking. The doctor also spoke to Lisa about potential surgery that she could have that may relieve her chronic pain in the long term.

Bespoke exercises

Lisa met with a physiotherapist to discuss some at home exercises she can do to help avoid her bones becoming stiff and painful. They also discussed different techniques such as using cold or heat packs when sitting at home to help relieve the pain.

Lisa met with a psychologist to talk about her concerns about both the pain she is currently experiencing and her worries for the future. They helped put Lisa’s mind at ease by helping her plan for the future.
