Denise was diagnosed with chronic joint pain 5 years ago. She joined Leva with a goal to be able to exercise for longer periods without having to stop. When painful it can be difficult to walk and run.

Denise received a full medication review and was able to reduce the pain killers that she was taking. Her clinician also prescribed her a topical medicinal cannabis oil to use on her joints during a flare up to help reduce the pain and stiffness of her joints. She will be reviewed regularly by her clinician to track her progress.
Movement
Bespoke exercises
Her clinician recommended certain stretches and strengthening exercises that Denise could do before she left the house each day. This would help to reinforce the affected joints and improve their stability helping Denise to walk longer distances each day.
Mind
Coaching
Denise spoke to her clinician about being upset and worried that she could no longer go on walks and hikes with her children and how her mobility issues were interfering with her social life. Her clinician listened to her concerns and recommended that Denise take up mindfulness to help clear her head and yoga to help strengthen her joints and relieve stress.
