We're committed to price transparency

💡 We do things differently

We believe that low upfront costs to get patients in the door is the wrong incentive. Our fair pricing is designed to cover our costs to operate sustainably.

Most importantly, it enshrines our clinicians' duty to prescribe the right medication in the right dose for patients (if at all) - even if that means we don't earn a penny on the prescription.

If you're prescribed cannabis-based medication, there are two components: what you pay us for your specialist pain care, and what you pay your pharmacy for medication.

Prescription to pharmacy

Pharmacy costs

Just like with GP prescriptions, you'll pay the pharmacy for your medication (if prescribed). Unlike a GP prescription, the NHS doesn't subsidise the cost of cannabis-based medication, meaning it's more expensive than the flat fee.

The price itself is set by pharmacies. They'll base it on factors such as quantity, the form (oil or flower) and dosage.

While we're not in control of the exact amount, we'll always take your budget into account when prescribing. In every case we always aim to achieve the maximum results from the least medication.

💡 Estimated prices

To remove some of the guesswork, below is what you might expect to pay. Our average patient pays £150 for their prescription. You'll be able to request repeat prescriptions every month.
